Bread of Life Great Park Church, in Irvine, Southern California, was started in 2009 from Rev. Joseph Chang’s wife Pastor Esther Chang in receiving vision and calling from God to build a church. They have been growing steadily, starting from a Friday Chinese-English bilingual small cell group to the current Mandarin, Taiwanese, and English Sunday services and cell groups. They hold classes to train cell group leaders utilizing “The Eternal Gospel” (a book on how to preach the gospel and to lead people to Jesus Christ) to bring people to the Lord. They also hold cooking classes, English classes and parenting classes to serve the community. They also established the North American branch of the Bread of Life Theological Seminary.
Bread of Life Great Park Church has great passion to preach the gospel to Taiwan. The church continued to organize English-speaking mission teams to teach in Taiwan’s Youth and children English camps and preach the gospel there. They also cared for the lost souls in Taiwan’s prisons, and through worship and testimony sharing, they brought the gospel to them so that they could experience God’s love and grace. May God use them as a church preaching the gospel, not only in Orange County, but also to all countries around the world. In 2025, they will continue to focus on Chinese schools. In addition to working hard on teacher training, they will also increase enrollment in the hope of entering the community.
位於南加的大公園靈糧堂是張玉明牧師在師母張李少鳳牧師得到神的異象與託付之下，開始建立的教會。他們在穩定中成長，又使用培訓課程，訓練組長使用「永恆的福音」（一本關於如何傳福音和帶領人們歸向耶穌基督的書）帶人信主， 從開始週五中英文小組聚會，到現在主日有國、台、英語的崇拜及週五的國、台、英語的小組，在社區外展及服務方面，有烹飪班、媽媽成長班、及英文班。他們又成立靈糧神學院北美分院，把教室帶到需要工人的各個工場，把神學教育帶到各城各鄉各個需要的地方。除了本地的福音工作，他們對台灣有很大的負擔，每年組織多支英語短宣隊赴台教青少年及兒童的暑期英語營，並向他們傳福音。他們也關懷台灣監獄的失喪靈魂，並透過敬拜與見證分享，將福音帶給他們，使他們經歷神的愛和恩典。2024年，甚至有全新靈糧中文學校，藉此能幫助孩子快樂的學習中文，禱告中文學校能成為福音的出口，為主多結果子。2025年持續專注於中文學校，除了努力師資培訓，也加強招生，希望可以走進社區。

Thank God for giving Los Angeles Emmanuel Bread of Life Church Chinese School, making it a place for spreading knowledge and truth. I pray that God will personally look after this internal training and grant wisdom and love to every teacher and co-worker so that they can grow through learning and equipping and become servants who are in accordance with God’s will.
May God grant wisdom and understanding so that every teacher participating in the training can clearly understand what they have learned, master more effective teaching methods, and pass on knowledge and spiritual values to the next generation. Pray that God will grant us patience and grace, so that teaching will not only be the transfer of knowledge, but also the expression of love, so that children can feel God’s love and truth while learning the language.

May God bless the ministry of the Chinese school and make it a bridge of the gospel, not only cultivating students’ language skills but also helping them to know God and walk on the right path. May this training be an opportunity for improvement and renewal, allowing teachers to grow both spiritually and professionally, and to work together as one to nurture future generations for the Kingdom of God.

Please continue to pray for our expansion in Phoenix and for our co-workers Chris and Patty. Ask the Lord to grant us grace, power, and like-minded co-workers to win more souls for Him at TSMC. Please also support the growth of the two branches of Ark Bread Christian Church in Montreal, Canada, the family of Pastor Qi Zhou and Sister Chun Xiang, their joint pastoral care for the church, the difficulties the church faces, and the breakthroughs they experience with the Lord's guidance. For the expansion of Faith, Hope and Love Bread of Life Church, the responsible co-workers: Preacher Qingfu and Sister Peiqing prayed earnestly, pleading for the guidance and mighty manifestation of the Holy Spirit to lead many local gospel friends to come before the Lord and be saved and reborn.
