about

ROLCC’s local branch was first pioneered by Pastor M from Kazakhstan in 2010, but he has never been able to obtain a long-term visa. A short-term tourist visa forced him to leave the country every 2 months, his church planting was very difficult, but in 2014, he met Pastor D, a young local pastor, and began to serve together. Pastor D officially became the pastor of the Turkish branch of tROLCC in July of that year and began to establish a church in K city, but the ministry in the place was difficult to carry out. They began to pray and moved to M city in 2018, where God has prepared some faithful co-workers for them to serve together. In recent years, they are experiencing the work of God's revival. Every week, college students from M city come to their church. These Christian students introduce their church to their classmates and friends. In this way, many college students begin to participate in the activities organized by their church. God created a new season for them, praying for the presence of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit to anoint them, so that they can experience the power of God. In 2024, wewill focus on church believer training and church planting, hoping to strengthen the faith foundation of all believers and co-workers through teaching, and thereby train more new pastors to serve! In 2025, we will focus on leadership training, hoping to bring out more co-workers to serve and have a more complete work organization.

LOCATION:

Turkey spans two continents in Europe and Asia, the largest city is Istanbul, formerly known as Constantinople, was the capital of the Byzantine Empire. Turkey is an ancient civilization and one of the earliest areas in the world where humans have settled. With a population of 83 million, Turks account for approximately 70-75%, Kurds account for 18%, and other ethnic minorities account for 7-12%. Religiously, 65% are Sunni Muslims, 4% are Shia Muslims, and another 14% are non-sect Muslims. Christians account for about 2%, mostly Orthodox and Catholic, and the number of Protestants is very small.

Pray with Turkey

  • Pray that God will lead the church and give wisdom and strategies so that the church can attract young people and families to join. Through appropriate ministries and activities, the new generation will be willing to enter the church and know God’s love.

  • Let us pray to God for the domestic economic environment, asking Him to take control and guide the country’s economic development so that the people can be blessed and the gospel can influence every aspect of society.

  • Pray for the people of these countries, asking you to open their hearts and make them desire to know you. Even if the environment is closed, they can still hear the gospel through various means - whether it is the Internet, radio, print, or supernatural visions and dreams - and be moved by the Holy Spirit to turn to you.
